Please review our policies before booking. By scheduling a service, you agree to these terms.

Service Agreement

  • By booking a service with Izaya's Mobile Detailing, you ("Customer") agree to be bound by all terms and conditions outlined in this policy document.
  • All services are performed at the Customer's designated location. Customer must provide access to the vehicle and a suitable location for detailing (preferably shaded, with water and electrical access if possible).
  • The Customer agrees that the vehicle will be accessible at the scheduled appointment time and that a responsible adult (18+) will be present or reachable by phone.
  • Izaya's Mobile Detailing reserves the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe, unsuitable for detailing, or if the vehicle condition differs significantly from what was described during booking.
  • Service times are estimates and may vary depending on vehicle condition, size, and complexity. Additional charges may apply for excessively dirty or neglected vehicles.
  • Payment is collected at the time of booking through our secure payment system (Stripe). By providing payment, you authorize the charge and agree to these terms.
  • This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Izaya's Mobile Detailing regarding the services to be performed.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time to receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance: Full refund processed within 5-10 business days.
  • Cancellations made 12-24 hours before appointment: 50% refund; 50% retained as cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before appointment: No refund; full amount retained as cancellation fee.
  • To cancel, use the booking lookup feature on our website with your booking ID and email, or contact us directly.
  • Rescheduling is available free of charge with 24+ hours notice, subject to availability.
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in being required to pay a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds are processed through the original payment method (Stripe) and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • Full refunds are available for: cancellations 24+ hours in advance, appointments cancelled by Izaya's Mobile Detailing, and weather-related cancellations where rescheduling is not possible.
  • Partial refunds (50%) are available for: cancellations 12-24 hours in advance, and service issues reported within 24 hours where a redo is declined.
  • No refunds are provided for: cancellations less than 12 hours before appointment, no-shows, completed services where no issues were reported within 24 hours, or services where the Customer was not present for inspection.
  • Refund requests for service quality must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion with photo documentation.
  • Travel fees are non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment.
  • All refund decisions are final and at the sole discretion of Izaya's Mobile Detailing management.

No-Show Policy

  • A "no-show" occurs when: the Customer is not present or reachable, the vehicle is not accessible, the location is inaccessible, or the Customer refuses service upon arrival.
  • Our technician will wait up to 15 minutes past the scheduled time and attempt to contact you before marking the appointment as a no-show.
  • No-shows will forfeit 100% of the payment amount with no refund.
  • After two no-shows, future bookings will require a non-refundable deposit or full prepayment.
  • If you are running late, please contact us immediately - we may be able to adjust the schedule if you can arrive within 30 minutes.

Travel Fee Policy

  • Distance is calculated from our service hub located near Lexington, NC 27295 using standard mapping services.
  • Appointments within 15 miles of our service hub: No travel fee.
  • Appointments beyond 15 miles: $2 per mile travel fee (calculated one-way, rounded to nearest mile).
  • Maximum service radius: 50 miles from our service hub. Appointments beyond this distance require special arrangement.
  • The travel fee is calculated automatically during booking based on your service address and is non-negotiable.
  • Travel fees are non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours or for no-shows.

Weather Policy

  • In the event of inclement weather (rain, severe storms, lightning, extreme temperatures below 35°F or above 100°F), appointments may be rescheduled at no charge.
  • We will contact you as soon as possible (at least 2 hours before if conditions permit) if weather requires rescheduling.
  • Light rain or overcast conditions typically do not affect service - we can work in covered areas, garages, or carports.
  • Customer-requested rescheduling due to weather (when we are willing to proceed) follows standard rescheduling policies.
  • Weather-related cancellations by Izaya's Mobile Detailing receive full refunds if rescheduling is not possible.

Satisfaction Guarantee

  • We strive for complete customer satisfaction with every detail and stand behind our work.
  • If you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.
  • For valid concerns, we will: (1) Schedule a free redo of the specific issue, OR (2) Provide a partial refund at our discretion.
  • The Customer must be present for a post-service inspection or provide written acknowledgment (text/email) that service is satisfactory.
  • Claims made after 24 hours or without photo documentation may not be eligible for remedy.
  • We reserve the right to take before/after photos for quality assurance and dispute resolution.
  • Satisfaction remedies do not apply to pre-existing conditions, unrealistic expectations, or issues outside the scope of the booked service.

Damage & Liability

  • Izaya's Mobile Detailing carries general liability insurance for claims arising from our negligence during service.
  • We are NOT responsible for: pre-existing damage, scratches, chips, dents, rust, oxidation, paint defects, clear coat failure, mechanical issues, or any condition present before service.
  • We are NOT responsible for: damage to aftermarket accessories, loose/improperly installed trim, window tinting, wraps/decals, or items left inside the vehicle.
  • All damage claims must be reported IMMEDIATELY upon service completion and BEFORE the technician leaves the premises.
  • Claims reported after the technician departs require photo evidence from before the service to be considered.
  • Some cleaning processes may reveal underlying damage previously hidden by dirt, grime, or contamination - this is not caused by our service.
  • Maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.
  • By accepting service, you acknowledge these limitations and agree to hold harmless Izaya's Mobile Detailing, its owners, employees, and contractors from claims not arising from our direct negligence.

Employee & Contractor Safety

  • All Izaya's Mobile Detailing technicians are either employees or independent contractors operating under our guidelines.
  • Customers agree to provide a safe working environment free from hazards, aggressive pets, harassment, or threatening behavior.
  • Technicians reserve the right to leave immediately if they feel unsafe, with the appointment treated as a Customer-caused cancellation (no refund).
  • Customers shall not direct, supervise, or interfere with the technician's work methods - our technicians are trained professionals.
  • Any injury to our technician caused by Customer negligence (hidden hazards, pet attacks, assault) may result in legal action.
  • Customers are responsible for securing pets during service. We are not liable for pet-related incidents.

Vehicle Condition

  • Customers must accurately describe vehicle condition during booking. Significantly worse conditions may incur additional charges.
  • We reserve the right to: refuse service, require additional payment, or modify the service scope based on actual vehicle condition.
  • Biohazard conditions (vomit, blood, feces, mold, pest infestations) require disclosure during booking and incur additional fees.
  • We are not responsible for activating dormant issues (e.g., battery drain from interior lights, existing electrical problems).
  • All personal belongings should be removed before service. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items left in the vehicle.
  • Illegal items discovered during service will be reported to authorities, and service will be terminated without refund.

Indemnification & Legal

  • By booking service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Izaya's Mobile Detailing, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in Davidson County, NC courts.
  • If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
  • Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • We reserve the right to modify these policies at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
  • For disputes involving amounts under $10,000, both parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation.
  • Class action waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits.

Privacy Policy

Izaya's Mobile Detailing is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide our services and process payments.

Information We Collect: Name, phone number, email address, service address, and payment information (processed securely through Stripe).

How We Use Your Information: To provide services, communicate about appointments, process payments, and send booking confirmations.

Data Security: All payment information is processed through Stripe's secure payment system. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Your Rights: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.
